Our Story

MonsterShop is part of Monster Group, which started in 2007 as a small mannequin supplier called Dazzling Dummies. Since then, we’ve grown into a multi-brand eCommerce business with fulfilment centres in the UK and the Netherlands.

Today, we offer products across home and garden, DIY, catering, fitness, and pet accessories through MonsterShop and global marketplaces. Combining international scale with an entrepreneurial mindset, we’re focused on delivering quality, value, and innovation to customers wherever they shop.

Humble Beginnings

Founded by Rana Harvey under the name Dazzling Dummies from her bedroom.

Foundation & Early Retail Focus

Operated as a small-scale retail-only business. Focused on direct to consumer sales with a limited but carefully curated product range.

Turning Point & Rebrand

Strategic rebrand to Monster Group. Shifted from a retail-only mindset to a more ambitious, growth-focused model. Aggressively expanded product catalogue to tap into new markets and customer segments.

2014–2015

Scaling Infrastructure

2014 Purchased bespoke headquarters in York. Signalled commitment to long-term operations and professionalism of the business. 2015 Acquired a 90,000 sq ft UK warehouse. Enabled rapid stock expansion, operational efficiency and better customer service delivery.

2019–2021

International Expansion

In 2019 Opened a 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Venlo, Netherlands. Marking the company's first major move into Europe, enabling faster EU fulfilment. In 2021 We upgraded to a larger 85,000 sq ft warehouse in the Netherlands. This strengthened EU logistics and post-Brexit resilience.

Present Day

Monster Group now boasts a catalogue of over 1,500 products. Operates as a leading multi-channel, multi-category eCommerce business. Combines a data-led approach with deep operational capabilities and a clear focus on customer experience.
