What Are SkiSki Legs?
SkiSki Legs are our range of hairpin table legs, sold in packs of four, designed to bolt straight onto a tabletop, worktop, or shelf and instantly give it a mid-century, industrial look. They come in three finishes — Raw Steel, Black, and Antique Copper — so whether you're after an unfinished industrial look, a sleek modern black, or something with a warmer vintage feel, there's a finish to match the piece you're working on.
Each set is available with either two or three prongs per leg, in 10mm or 12mm thickness, so you can match the leg to the size and weight of what you're putting it on. Heights run from 12" and 14" up to 16" and 28", covering everything from a low coffee table to a full-height dining table or desk.
Ideas for What to Build
The appeal of hairpin legs is that they work on almost anything flat. Here are a few starting points:
Restore an old dining table. If you've got a table with a solid top but tired or wobbly legs, unscrewing the old legs and bolting on a set of 28" SkiSki Legs is often all it takes to bring it back to life. A worn wooden top paired with raw steel or black hairpin legs is one of the simplest upcycling wins out there.
Build a coffee table from reclaimed wood. A scaffold board, an old door, or a thick offcut of timber sanded down and finished, paired with 12" or 14" legs, makes for a coffee table with real character — and one nobody else will have.
Turn a chest of drawers into a sideboard. Removing the base of an old chest of drawers or cabinet and fitting hairpin legs underneath instantly modernises the piece and lifts it off the floor, which works particularly well in a hallway or living room.

Choosing the Right Legs for Your Project
A few things to think about before you order:
- Height determines what the piece becomes. 12"–14" suits coffee tables, stands, and low shelving. 16" works well for benches and side tables. 28" is your dining table and desk height.
- Prong count affects stability — three-prong legs generally give a sturdier base for larger or heavier tops, while two-prong legs have a slightly lower profile if that's the look you're after.
- Thickness (10mm vs 12mm) affects how much weight the leg is built to carry — go for 12mm on anything large or likely to take heavy daily use, like a dining table or desk.
- Finish is purely down to the look you're going for: Raw Steel for an unfinished industrial edge, Black for something that disappears into a modern room, and Antique Copper for a warmer, vintage feel.
